Martin owner of The Havana Club in Jersey quotes

Once again Dirty DCcame up with the goods and surpassed all expectations. The crowd just loved them. This was their second visit to the Club in a year, by demand and our resident sound engineer Justin did them proud with a stunning mix through our Allen Heath and D&B rig. The definition, depth, intensity and shear volume  was awesome. I remember going to a Deep Purple Gig at the Hammersmith Odeon in the Seventies, reportedly the loudest concert ever.It was a little bit like that.

Well done guys.

Hi Guys,

My name is Martyn, I meet you guys after the gig in Jersey new years eve. Just sending a quick e-mail to say thanks for a great gig. You where brilliant and being rather rude, you said would come back to Jersey again to do another gig. Can I ask is there any chance you could make it for Saturday 2nd June 2007, as this is my 41st birthday and you guys would make it extra special. Bit rude to ask but no worries if not. just make sure youdo come back because you made my 2006, which had not been good. Thanks again guys and best wishes to you and all your families.
Happy New Year.

Cheers Martyn.

From Mel

Hi guys,

Last saw you in a very small gig in the north Norfolk village of Heacham. Me and my mate came especially from Norwich stayed the night in a very strange B & B he he! I now think that we are barred from visiting the village again as we were a little drunk (well absolutely hammered in fact). You would not remember but we were the two lady’s dancing at the front and of course singing every word with you. We were also at the waterfront with lots of our friends and every body always comments on what a fuckin fantasis night we all had and that was done to you guys. I have seen ac/dc several times and that’s why I must see you again as I think we look forward to yours gigs just as much as if your seeing the real thing.

Please can you play in Norfolk again soon as I know that everybody loves you and it would give us something to look forward to.

Well I’ll be off now and by the way as you might have guessed I’m just back from the pub with a few of my mates.

Cheers

See you soon I hope

Mel

E-mail from Jim about The Brook gig on the 20/07/07

Hi,   Thanks for playing It's A Long Way To the Top at The Brook. Really enjoyed the show a couple of weeks ago although could not jump up and down as much as usual as I had I really bad stiff neck. Thought the stand in singer was excellent.

Cheers, Jim

Yeh thanks Jim and also a massive thanks to Bill and Whole Lotta DC for all their help

This e-mail from MickShep

hello lads, first time i'd seen you at rock n blues. For me you were the best band of the weekend and should have been main stage. But in saying that, the atmosphere in the big top was ACE.
KEEP IT UP LADS

This from Leatherlady

Thanks to Mick and Leatherlady

This from Jim who caught the gig at The Brook,m 20/04/07

I was gutted to as I saw it on the set list. Anyway, next time will be fine. We all enjoyed the show...excellent as ever. It is nice to have a drink but I enjoy it just the same when on the water. We have seen quite a few bands at The Brook but all agree Dirty DC are the best. We have seen you about five times I think and like the way the sets are always different and varied but also include all the favourites. Really good entertainment and all for £8......looking forward to 20/07. See you then Jim

Dirty DC got this e-mail from Tray, Tim, and Hollie

Dirty DC @ The Brook

Bit late but sorry gonna bore you by telling you how brilliant you guys were again, I'll keep it short though!!
Friday at The Brook(Southampton) me and m'mates (top righthand corner of the balcony), loved it, you guys were on top form and I love the way you've changed the set every gig I've been to.

The usual thanks to all of the guys,
see you in Portsmouth on the 14th Dec,
Paul

Thanks

acadacauk

sent Dirty DC his review of The Horn gig

The Horn in St Albans blew its top once again with the help of the uk's no1 AC/DC tribute band DirtyDC. From the first chord to the last was a full set of high energy. the band were not without their flaws but they were minor and were covered over with a bit of onstage banter between all the boys and didn't seem to worry the rampant crowd  They all looked like they were having a good time. Hats of to Gary on the drums for smiling and laughing all the way through the set as did all the boys. (im just wondering if that may have something to do with the newly fitted toilets in the gents). There was a lot of the Bon stuff played on this set and as a bon fan I'm not complaining. Chris on vocals had his fun with the crowd, Simon on Gibson sg was razor sharp, Stic and his white falcon sounded smooth, Tony on bass and Gary on drums provided the stabilaty for the band and for the crowd. Five guys, five instruments, one outcome. value for money and a great night out thanks a lot lads, see you soon.   lee (acadacauk)

Thanks Lee, you`re a top man.

Fellas, what can I say, first time at The Brook (what a venue), first time to see Dirty DC. THANKYOU !!! What a show, what presence, what a night, not singling out one person as you were all fantastic. Just goy over long term illness and you bought the biggest smile to my face in a very long time, see in April at the Wedgewood rooms.
