hope dirtydc had a good xmas and new year. look foward to seeing you this year, if not at the horn, im gonna be at the wrexham thingy. By the ways somethings just come to mind (yeh I know shit between the ears and all that), I got bonfire of the kids for xmas and that got me thinking, have you thought about including dirty eyes or backseat confidential or what about the volts version of touch to much and get it hot, maybe something to think about for wrexham. now that would be worth the bus fare to wales.  lee

I saw you guys  recently at the Standard in Walthamstow - really
excellent!

Jim House (Sent to mrkyps.net, check it out) Mr Kyp`s
First time at a tribute band. Huge AC/DC fan so was expecting to be amused but essentially disappointed, despite the previous reviews. How wrong can you be. Having seen the real thing more than 10 times, I have to say that this was the best AC/DC gig I've ever seen. AC/DC should relax and subconract the gig work out to these boys. They even look like AC/DC. Dirty-DC are a must for AC/DC fans, and a 'should-see' for everyone else.   The music was spot-on and the track selection outstanding. The only things these guys miss is a big budget for some stadium shows! My only concern about writing a good review is that it might make it more difficult for me to get tickets in the future. If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to hire these guys every night (along with a good hearing specialist - my ears were still ringing 48 hours after the gig - I guess I shouldn't stand at the stage for the whole gig - I even gave up going to the bar during the gig - thank god for the break.   I think the guys in the band do this because they really love it. I think you should go and see them, because you'll really love it to. If you like AC/DC go and see this band. If you don't like AC/DC, go and see them anyway, you'll be a fan by the end of the night. Thanks to the band. I'm now a fan for life.   Jim House

...........well I'm back in Blighty, fuckin stuck here till July DAMMIT!!!! Anyhoo, the missus is coming over for a week at the end of March/beginning of April and ideally we'd like to take in two shows. The second Saturday she's here, April 3rd, is a complete result as you're playing in the midlands and saints just happen to be away at Wolves that afternoon so we have the ol' two-birds-with-one-stone scenario nicely sorted there but the first weekend she's here is March 27th - the one weekend I can see there's no gig!! I know you guys have to have a weekend off now and then but can you make it any other weekend rather than that one please!!! ............., tell Grant not to announce the fact and point at me would ya, I feel a reet c**t when that happens!   Cheers geezer   Daymo

hi, stic hows it going mate?. sorry i,ve not been in touch recently, due to the fact , was working away.. done sum stuff up and down the country.  yes you are right ab/cd are back together, they are doing a gig here in leicester.  one of my mates band are supporting them.. they know about you guys, they were impressed, by what other people have said about you. i still think you lads are top of my list of dc tribute bands by far.  i would love to see you again, as soon as poss. that place in leicester called retribution, is a great club, but they have stopped bands playing there 4 the time being, due to putting a ska band on metal night ...of all things, and it kicked off, trouble that is!!
but they said they are sorting things out, so who knows you might play in leicester again, hope so!!
anyway stic nice to hear from you again. i am now going on your website, to see where you mad lads are playing. see ya soon mate

Hi Stic, thanks so much for your in-depth reply, im mightily impressed ( what a good chap you are!! ) unfortunately, due to lack of money,i had to get a "Squire " tele, its nice, but id obviously get a Gretsch if i could. The amp is a Fender Deluxe 90.Its ok,quite loud, and a good clean channel. My mate Col, who      used to work for
Guitarist magazine,"adds" i think, recommended his mate Gaz,in  a guitar shop in Birmingham. He did me a good deal,so im chuffed.

I'm very envious of your trip to the Apollo,or should i say the Odeon! i'd love to have gone,i bet it was special.I've seen the band many times now,and i think Donnington 91,is still the best i've seen them, but they're always great!Well Stic,im sorry you boys cant make it up here, they'res a good couple of weeksworth of  gigs around the north east, so if ya change your minds, let me know.

I only caught you boys once,(im from Cambridge) and you boys not only play AC\DC the best, but "non believers" i think would get into AC\DC watching you boys.

I hope you don't think im being rude, but you're the guy who looks like Paulo Di Canio?? lol!!am i right? but you look like Mal too!!

Well cheers again Stic, and i hope to hear from you again

Hi Stic   Mike and I were gutted to miss the gig at Kyps on Friday - work commitments sadly - the first time in ages we have missed one down here. I heard it was absolutely superb as usual and SOLD OUT! Fantastic!   Roan was there as usual and said the event was video'd - is this true and where do I get one if it is?   Regards to the boys as ever. I'm buying the tickets for the gig in April this week to ensure that I get in when you're next down this way!   Tanz

Hi Stik   Hope you are well, really pissed to have missed you last week at Kyps. By all accounts another great evening.   It was our joint end of first year in business and belated christmas do - arranged by a non-dc fan obviously.   Paul and I did our best to re-arrange but we couldn't change it by the time we realised.   Catch up with you in April at Kyps   Cheers   Mike

i thought that gig in burton was just awsome mate!!
great venue as well(even if we had a hell of a job
finding it)a bit like the st albans arena(but with
much cheaper drinks)!!!!
and the setlist was suberb (live wire, touch to
much,badboyboogie,riff raff,high voltage,shot down in
flames,up yo my neck in you)all in one night is
something i wont forget!!!
i thought playing both jailbreak and badboyboogie was
a masterstroke(something ACDC should consider doing)
now if you played "overdose and nervous shakedown"
that would blow the ceiling off!!!
you allways no when its been a good gig when you come
out and youve gone deaf lol
thanks for the badges lads my denim is now slowly
being covered in them and thanks for a great night

I forgot to mail and say thanks for a great evening at Mr Kyp's in Poole
last month. I took about ten lads along and they all had a blast. And
thanks for putting in 'Problem Child' as requested after the gig in Dec
- a great way to satrt the second ½. Maybe 'Brian' won't need the words
stapled to the floor next time!

See you next time around.

Kind Regards,

Philip Harvey
